Palmenco AB was the first in Scandinavia to market breathalyzers and today acts as a proud general agent for Lion Laboratories, established in 1962 in Cardiff, Wales. Together with its American sister company CMI, Lion is a leader in breath alcohol analysis on a global level.
Our breathalyzers Lion 700 and 900 meet EN19564 standards and are also classified as medical devices.

Lion 700
The Lion Alcolmeter 700 is a compact and user-friendly breathalyzer for analyzing alcohol content in breath, certified according to EN15964. It delivers highly accurate readings and can store up to 3000 test results.
The device can also perform a test in cases of limited lung capacity or unconsciousness. It can be connected to a portable printer for printing results, which is useful in HR, legal, and health and safety monitoring.
The Lion 700 meets the new EU standard for professional measurement and is used by the Police, defence and healthcare services in the Nordic countries.

Lion AlcoBlow
The Lion AlcoBlow is an efficient breathalyzer for quick and frequent screening without physical contact, perfect for large groups. It is ideal for use at entry points to mines, schools, prisons, and industrial workplaces where safety is of utmost importance.
The device is non-invasive and does not require mouthpieces, minimizing hygiene risks. In passive mode, a test can also be conducted in the vicinity of the subject without unwanted interaction, or to detect alcohol in a beverage.

Intoxilyzer 9000
The Intoxilyzer 9000 by CMI Inc. is an advanced breathalyzer that uses four infrared wavelengths to analyze samples, providing superior accuracy, precision, and the ability to detect interferences.
The device is easy to use with a one-button operation, supports calibration checks with both dry and wet ethanol gas standards, and allows field calibration adjustments through a menu-driven sequence.
